Meet Sipho Mbana
Sipho Mbana is the Founder and Principal Physiotherapist at Sipho Physio. He earned his Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (2017–2020) and has since built a diverse career across South Africa and Australia, helping people of all ages recover from injury, reduce pain, and return to the activities they love.
With a strong passion for sports medicine, Sipho has worked with numerous athletes and sporting teams, including TS Galaxy Football Club for two seasons in South Africa and Marlin Coast Rangers Football Club in Far North Queensland, Australia. He has also managed musculoskeletal injuries, workplace rehabilitation, aged care, NDIS, and post-operative recovery in both public and private healthcare settings.
Dedicated to continuous growth, Sipho completed the FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine through the University of Bath and is currently completing his MBA through Quantic School of Business and Technology (Washington, D.C.), combining world-class clinical expertise with modern healthcare leadership.
His treatment philosophy is simple: listen first, assess thoroughly, and provide evidence-based treatment that empowers every patient to move better, recover faster, and live with confidence.
Outside the clinic, Sipho enjoys long walks, spending quality time with family, and finding peace in nature. Fun fact: he sings in the shower every morning to set the tone for the day.
